FS: sz 11.5 (worn once indoors) Nike Air Yeezy “Net/Net” (make offer!)

These are also damn near DS.  This pair is the Net/Net version, with the awesome glow in the dark swoosh on the side.  The leather is so supple and of the highest quality for Nike.  Much nicer than the Yeezy 2, which had mostly faux leather, and ballistic mesh.  Really Nike?  Mesh on a $245 sneaker?!  They got all of you guys tricked yo!  Paid more, and with less quality.  Look at the lace locks on the new pair.  Weak.  Probably cost them a penny to make that thing.  Oh, but you got nice lace tips as a trade-off.  GTFOH!  Anyways, need more pics?  Let me know.  I tried to take as many detailed shots, so you know they’re real.  I don’t think there’s any question though, cause most of the fake Yeezy’s out there are pretty shitty and easy to tell.

These are damn near DS.  This pair is also my infamous pair that was shipped in just the Yeezy box, so you get the joy of owning this rare, taped the fuck up box, with USPS Priority Mail tape by the way!  I’m sitting here typing this, and am still mad about it, lol, but honestly, at least the shoes are damn near flawless.  That’s what really matters.  Anyways, need more pics?  Let me know.  I tried to take as many detailed shots, so you know they’re real.  I don’t think there’s any question though, cause most of the fake Yeezy’s out there are pretty shitty and easy to tell.

These were worn once, but you can hardly even notice.  Not even dirty!  I ended up ordering a set of 12s afterwards because they fit better.  I also have the Infrared QS colorway as well, which are DS brand new, never worn.  Hit me up through email or on twitter @djguamstyle.

The Air Trainer SC II is coming back in the OG Infrared/Navy/Wolf Grey colorway (close enough!), and the White/Cement Grey/Citron colorway as well!  They’re starting to pop up at some stores, but should be more widely available next Friday.

1995: The Golden Era of Nike Sneakers

Modern Notoriety (by way of KenLu) just posted these pics up, taking us back to 1995, and what sneakers were offered up to us by Nike.  With a slew of endorsed athletes, and signature model kicks in damn near every sport, we were copping general release kicks, like there were no tomorrow, or as in my case, I was envying all my friends who were lucky, or spoiled enough to get their parents to buy them.  Now days, limited editions reign supreme in the world of sneakers, including the likes of SBs, and collaborations, which are only available through select retailers, and not your local mall.  I guess that’s good for my friends, and I, as well as those of you who grew up in the same era, because we can cop the retro releases with ease in most cases, but make no mistake, these retros have new age sneakerheads hunting down their pairs as well, with their timeless design, colorways, and comfortability.  Thank you Tinker, and friends, for making my teenage years the most memorable times of my life for sneakers, even if I was just an observer at the time!

Nike Air Hangar

Pretty cool…Nike’s private airplane hangar.  I know I’ve contributed my fair share to them being able to have luxuries like this.  They should at least put my name on the wall or something!
